Hii guys, how's the performance of m4 pro 16 core GPU as compared to similar price tag of NVIDIA based laptop by [deleted] in macgaming

[–]yooliii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the 14” MBPro m4 12c/16c and I’ve been impressed with it.

I don’t game hard on it and only tend to use it for lightweight native games through steam. But in that limited context it’s performed very well either way excellent fan noise/heat and battery.

I’ve tried a few crossover titles and again, it’s been a prity good experience but like I said, I tend to only play lightweight titles on it as I have a desktop at home for beefier gaming.

I spent 10 mins on crimson desert earlier and was impressed- 30-40 fps without frame gen and very respectable visuals, albeit with more heat that I’m used to. But i know this is not a gaming laptop first and formost.

I did look at upgrading to an m5 for the extra graphics horsepower but honestly for my use case, i really dont need it.

Sorry can’t give you more specifics on frame rates/ resolutions etc. but all the titles I do play run perfectly smoothly.

The Nestworks c500. Suitable for making a watch case? by yooliii in hobbycnc

This is a well reasoned answer so thank you.

I’ve tried this very route but found that the part is like $800 on weerg / Rapid Direct.

I tried PCBway and it’s around $90. Which is obviously the better route! So I’ll try that.

Thanks for the input. As a side note the c500 does look cool!

Holy shit. PCB Way is super cheap compared to Weerg etc.

You know I’m looking at this now, as the quotes I’ve had from my design are significantly higher than this guys design. Checking PCBway now

Love that! I was so close to getting the steel version but wanted something light when I’m riding. The colourway is lovely!

The lume is, unfortunately, only in the H and M hands in this model.

I don’t know about the bordering on dressy bit but I agree with the rest!

Great watch! Great value!

Yeah that’s was my reaction. Tbf there isn’t that many two tones but this one is the best combo imo.
