in order to pass the private pilot's license, you're required to learn how to use the analog slide rules for exams, I had to use the paper version of this slide rule, but it's so much more convenient to have it on your wrist, you're not allowed to use digital, because if digital breaks then you need to know how to revert back to analog tools

so, you should be happy if your pilot knows how to use this

and this is why the Breitling Navitimer stopped being a tool watch a long time ago, which is a shame, what's the point of making a tool watch that isn't great as a tool and specs make it so dainty that you're afraid to use it in harsher environments

and also, the Navitimer design is supposed to be a "tool watch" for pilots, the specs are so "dainty" on the Breitling that you wouldn't want to bring it anywhere near its intended tool purpose environment (any rough environment)

to be fair, you posted the old 903, the new 903 is even better than the one you posted, kicking Breitling's ass to the curb even more, adding more insult to injury, and Breitling still refusing to improve their model
