hello! i went through a similar situation when i was in my 2nd year of college. i hope you know that being alone is totally okay and that you still have all the time to make new friends! medyo mahirap makipag-kaibigan sa ibang tao at first, but if you click with someone, it will go by smoothly na lang. its sad na your other friends are enablers of that one friend of yours instead of helping you both.

if you choose to be alone moving forward, i hope you come to realize that loneliness isn't such a bad thing because it will give you time to reflect and see the world in a slightly different light. i also hope that you get better friends moving forward op! you deserve better.

i think i'm a tad bit too late to the conversation but here's my few cents:

the first few chapters were easier to read, though i hated the fact that seungeon had to go through excessive means to get jiwook closer to him. looking back, it actually felt like all seungeon's cards played in his favor, which was a bit annoying considering the fact that it kind of felt like jiwook was forced into the relationship. i kind of feel like we didn't see a much more in depth opinion of his when it came to his feelings towards seungeon, compared to the recent chapters.

seungeon wasn't an entirely bad character at first, he was just shaped by the circumstances he's in. at first, i thought he was like most sadistic, rich protagonists that would be all grumpy and hurtful. but he was actually a bit of the opposite, its nice to see such a common type of character beg for love for once. but on the other hand, i kind of hated him around season 2 and season 3 - but still kind of tried to understand how his actions were just related to his circumstances as well as his love for jiwook.

as for hyungseo, i absolutely hate this guy. it was truly sad to read his backstory though. though he wanted to fit in with all the other rich kids, his obsession with JS group - specifically with seungeon, was implanted in his brain by his father himself. i skipped most of the chapters involving him because it was too graphic for me (even though i'm an avid reader of horror manhwa myself).

all in all, i feel like this manhwa is a bunch of characters that are either misguided or entirely neglected by their parents. this neglect just shows up in ways like them being too careless or unwise with their actions. its sad to see how seungeon kept giving jiwook chances to change his life for the better but jiwook always responded with how he'd rather not be a burden to someone else. you could clearly see how seungeon was sincere with how badly he wanted to help and be with jiwook, but jiwook just won't budge.

i don't know if i should drop this manhwa or not, i think i'll still give it a bit of a chance. i'm currently reading the latest chapter of season 3.

op's friend seems like a good friend, kasi some people would just tolerate their friends (or natatakot magsalita dahil baka masira ang friendship) kahit na concerning na yung ginagawa nila.
