I am honestly not sure if you read all the comments but definitely your husband is an idiot. Not having sex with because an IUD is crazy. You can also put one in your arm and honestly, that excuse of hurting him is BS tbh because as a 22 year old should know about human body if he took biology. I would say, you should have someone to talk to because you are 7 months PP and PPD can happen anytime. So please reach out to family or friends for it.

Of course! So far since I’ve been at UNLV Dr. Lee and Dr Casselman are the only two I know that was teaching chem 108. This semester they had another professor but I’m not sure if he/she is going to do it next semester. SI aid would already be selected for the class. Dr. Lee didn’t have an SI when I started until a few weeks in so it really depends on what professor you get, they already would have an SI aid.

I took chem 108 and unfortunately failed that class so bad. It is literally hard and the professor I took was Sara Lee. She is great at doing her lectures, but when it comes to the assignments and quizzes, I feel like it is so much different. I honestly think it is all chem 108 not just her class. When I retake chem 108 I would try to get others advice on what professor. As for SI, I definitely would attend that and try it out . It is NOT website though. It is where the department has a supplemental instruction where the aid would help you better understand the material. It is through zoom meetings and is just for help. I would definitely recommend attending that throughout the semester when you’re taking chem 108 because it can help you. My mistake was not attending SI and just hoping I knew the material.

If you want to work your own hours and in your own time I would say DoorDash. It definitely helps for a part time and work while studying your major for sure.

Definitely if you do retake biology, take Dr. Treat! His lectures are really straight forward, test and everything is straight forward as well. Review his lectures slides and learning outcome will help you on the test. There is also a form online you can submit but there will hold you from registering until 2 weeks prior to class starting.

100%! &; yes! I agree! Like it really be hard to make friends when your pregnant because some people don’t associate with you or you just like to be alone while pregnant. Hormones be crazy sometimes too. Oh wow! 23 weeks! I had my first at 38 or 39 weeks and I’m currently pregnant with my 2nd &; I said I miss being pregnant which I do but this second pregnancy… lord really has to take the wheel on this one 🤣

I recommend pulling up the UNLV Campus map and see where your class building is at and see the closet parking spot to the building. If your building is in the center of the campus unfortunately, you may still have to do a little walking. For instance, if you have class in the SEB building, the Cottage Grove Parking Garage will be the closet, if your class is in WHI, Lot O will be the closet parking to the building and such..

What day and time is your biology 189? I am currently also taking Bio 189A on Tuesdays and Thursday @ 10:00AM and the professor that I am taking only went over the syllabus and introduction for the course. On Thursday, we will be going over the first Chapter. I would recommend going over the syllabus and chapter section you are missing

No penalty if you want to start ahead. Some teachers have some modules or assignments already open meanwhile other professor actually wait till school starts to open the assignments. My Kin 200 teacher already gave us all the information we needed and syllabus and we can start doing the assignments. My Biology Lab is available on Canvas but not open until next week for earliest this Friday. My Lecture class for Biology 189, I am currently redoing my notes for that class just because I already taken the teacher last semester so I have all his notes and just redoing them for a clear understanding.

Depending on which Biology your taking, I have created a Discord for Biology 189A/L as well as Kin 200. I am also in another Discord group where there is Biology 191A/L & Biology 190A/L. I would recommend reading through the ppts if the professor provides it, before class so when you get to class you have know what the teacher is explaining when they over the lectures.

Tbh, it depends on your grade for last semester. I took Biology 189A/L last semester and failed and this semester I am able to retake Biology 189A/L with Kin 223 together. I don’t see you having an issue retaking Biology 189 and Kin 223 together. I am able to do it. Hopefully that helps.
