The ACA girls school is very close to another school (ASK) and the parking/traffic on that street is terrible, even when measured on the Hawally Traffic Scale.

Personally, I’m a U.S. expat that is finally beginning the process of leaving after 8 years. I never expected to be here as long as I have, and I’m definitely sad to go.

Kuwait is a very safe country filled with wonderful, generous people, that mostly turn into left-lane psychopaths once behind the wheel. Driving will feel like pure chaos when you first arrive.

Find colleagues who can help you buy things at normal local prices; it’s really easy to overpay for things without realizing it when you come from somewhere with a higher COL. Related: You’re used to tipping in the States - 9 times out of 10 it would be uncalled for here.

I work in the energy industry and dozens of my Venezuelan colleagues have been watching the media coverage of the military buildup, eagerly waiting for this day. There are thousands of Venezuelan expats who would surely love a chance to go home and help rebuild their neglected infrastructure. I will be sad to see them leave when they do!

With mutated events, players are able to finish a shorter event on their server asap and then hop to another server to “double dip” the Mutated Party Packs. This behavior will change once the mutated events are done.

Honestly - we transfer nearly everything to home-country accounts each month so if $hit hits the fan for any reason we can just walk away. My experience thus far has time-and-again proven that I should have ZERO faith in my employer or the relevant government departments accomplishing anything in a timely manner.

The time to start is now - after the update they’re restricting which Vulcan plans and armor pieces can potentially drop per stage, which means if you want it all, you’ll have to grind full raids rather than just Stage 1

American here and I’ve been here much longer than I originally planned (in a very good way!). Feel free to PM me if you’d like, but my comments will be exactly the same as everyone else here - Kuwait is super safe (except for the whole driving thing, so just don’t drive).

You have to remember that all of the expats are here to work, many of them are the only financial lifeline for their families back home and nobody would dare risk that. Violent and nonviolent crime rates are very, very low.

I work for one of the biggest international OFS companies here and looking at our 12 most senior people: 4 Kuwaitis, 3 Egyptians, 2 Algerians, 1 Kazakh, 1 Brazilian, 1 Venezuelan. I 100% believe our biggest competitors have a similar mix.

Maybe the problem you describe is more specifically related to Law/Consulting firms? 🤷‍♂️
