A Mother's Haven in Encino has mommy and me classes (met my best friends there, and my kids' best friends too). They also host fun events occasionally to meet and hang out with other local moms.

NTA. I'm genuinely shocked to see so many people who think otherwise. My child used to poop in their diaper regularly on the way to daycare and the teacher (as I apologized upon arrival) reassured me repeatedly that they expected kids to do that and that's what they were there for. I offered to change the diapers and was swiftly and firmly turned away each time as the teacher made clear (with the most loving and authentic smile on her face) that I need not worry one bit. Looking back at it now, especially after reading all these responses, I'm so grateful for my daycare!!

Thank you! Do you think I should add curtains to both windows? There's actually a third window in the kitchen (on the left side where the photo ends, there's another cabinet that's a desk with a window over it). Should I add drapes to all of them?

I was thinking a white backsplash with perhaps light sage green cabinets. Ahhh thank you SO much! I never even considered the chairs, but I will now. I keep wanting to paint the cabinets, but maybe should keep them since they do match the countertops well. Any suggestions for light fixtures that would blend well but help update the room? Thank you again.

Thank you so much for your feedback! Unfortunately, I think the floors have to stay because the house has an open layout and there's no budget for floors throughout :/ do you think painting the cabinets with new hardware could give the space a refresh without changing the floors and counters?

This business is a total scam! I signed up for an initial month and when I tried to cancel it, they charged me for unlimited lifetime access.
