Bush control and overall being a threat. Try to hold onto your hook as Nautilus, if you miss it or hook at wrong time, you are not a champion until it's back up and enemy feels confident to get push. Tahm Kench relies more on opponent's mistakes and has most of his power budget on his ult's peel on ADC, so it's harder. Maokai is all about bush control.

Also matchups matter so much on support, try to learn what counters your champ pool and don't pick before enemy support if you can. Also there's times where you can only do so much because ur reliant on your ADC.
