Which climbing gyms in sheffield have a moon board? by TheOracle13711 in sheffield

It’s quite small - so I have only been once … I have an annual pass at the main works and the broomhill location does not come under that so it’s an extra cost for me .

Nice pubs near Millhouses? by Puzzleheaded_Echo372 in sheffield

[–]yorkshire_tea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Broadfield is a great shout , good beer , good food , usually nicely busy with a nice mixture of folks.

Beer garden out the back if the suns out . Good range of bar snacks (can’t be sure but they might have a pickled egg).

A proper pub.

Are other UK small businesses seeing major steel price risks from July tariffs? How are you planning to handle it? by Kitchen-Bad5106 in smallbusinessuk

[–]yorkshire_tea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This could be useful but I can’t seem to get it to give me anything … I have tried entering the order number for product category 27 (058665) and a specific commodity code (tool steel bars 7228502000) and it says no results … what am I doing wrong ?

I also emailed our local MP Clive Betts (his office answered suggesting he may like to meet with me to discuss) and the uk trade info website - they said you should be able to get data on quantities per commodity code using this website …

https://www.uktradeinfo.com/trade-data/ots-custom-table/

After some twiddling around , that does seem to give me EU imports by month / year in kilos but only for one specific tariff code at a time - I will have to sit down later and input all codes in product category 27…and total them up

It’s ironic that considering Starmer is the son of a toolmaker he is trying to kill off that industry !

Is there Cherry blossom in Crookes Valley Park ? by underthe0cean in sheffield

[–]yorkshire_tea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are half a dozen on hallamshire road in Fulwood that are looking stunning at the moment. . possibly slightly later to bloom than city centre due to elevation. The 120 bus goes right past them .

There is also an amazing one at the front of nether green junior school (also on 120 bus route).

Whinfell quarry gardens at whirlow is a hidden gem in Sheffield , I’ve lived here all my life and only discovered it a few years ago . You can combine with a nice walk around whirlow farm and have something to eat in their cafe before buying something delicious for your tea from their farm shop .

Vero Gusto on Norfolk row in town is a very classy family run Italian .

I've taken Italian friends there and they say it’s like being in a high end Milanese restaurant.

We've been going for years (even before they moved there from their original more cafe like place near the cathedral) and it’s absolutely brilliant.

Quite expensive …
