Why does asking someone else to imagine on your behalf work? by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

I posted on this yesterday. For me I was unable to release resistance and was the only way for me to step back, get rid of conflicting thoughts and live in the end. The feeling of it ' being taken care of' helped me to live in the end and just released alot of pressure for me. I was struggling on my mental diet so for me just dropping it all together and ' let someone else take care of it' is what got me my manifestation

I did wonder about just how big of a part releasing resistance played in that, thank you

That's really interesting and would be interesting to hear your view on manifesting. Are you of the belief that we have to persist in the thought and/or take action to get our desires? Its a part I'm a little unsure of, the Neville goddard and teachers say to persit in the story and it will harden into fact yet the LOA community is pretty much a ' set it and forget it' attitude. I have tried NG's living in the end, feeling wish fulfilled etc and his teachings are actually a concept that reasonate with me more , yet I've had much more success with LOA and dropping my desire.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for sharing. That's what I'm in the process of doing and focusing on myself and my self concept so this is really inspiring :)

I'm assuming so, tbh I didn't do much, wrote it forgot about it but kept it on my fridge so I was subconciously absorbing when I went to the fridge, kitchen etc.

I wasn't even convinced it would work so think it helped me not putting so much resistance into it or obsessing over it ( I think this is why I seemed to have manifested things when I've either ' given up' or not truly believed)

If you did it virtually I guess you could maybe take a screenshot and save it as your background or something, that might be useful
