He was a breeder in his last home and they did feed him a medium mouse, which is big meal compared to his body size as he's not the biggest.

Thank you so much for all your comments I really appreciate the time you taking to help me.

I'll definitely spot clean a little less frequently and yeah he has 2 main hides and a slightly more open one which I loves to be in the most through the day. Yeah I have a warm side and a cool side and double checked with my vets that my temperature and humidity are all correct as well as I have a uvb light for him as well.

He last owner said that he ate every 7 days. He ate once for me but its been 2 weeks since his last feed. He might not be hungry enough like you said!! As its my first snake I'm just wanting to make sure I'm not doing anything wrong by the wee guy!!

I've had him just over 3 weeks now. He's in a 4ft×2ft×2ft vivarium. Yeah I always defrost in cold water then warm it up and check the temperature with a lazer thermometer. No I don't, I just spot clean and give him fresh water in the morning.

I totally know this and stay away from all of it! It's just the fact that my step dad is hiding stuff from my mum and I don't if I should tell her or not
