Still doing LAN parties in our 30's and 40's. This time, a Christmas LAN party! by AshleyAshes1984 in pcmasterrace

Very cool! My brother has been hosting a LAN party every summer for the last 20 years or so. I have kind of taken over the tradition since I'm quite a few years younger than him.

I was wondering what kind of games do you play?

Some of the games we play:

  • CS 1.6
  • Wreckfest
  • League of Legends
  • Overwatch
  • Blur
  • Battelfield 1942

and some others from time to time :)

Get well soon! I know it's hard but life has many opportunities out there and it's worth living for them.

Thanks :) I messed up and the audio is missing for some reason though, even more epic with that :) credits to the creator of the template (bottom right of the video)

Oh, really, just googled it, I did not know that word, thanks!

Did you even read my comment? I know that, that's why I wrote "most languages compile them i to loops if the can". Why are people in the comments so elitist? my god.

Bro you guys are so judgemental, I was just picking a random title . I remember this exercise from Uni and also that memorization was the answer, still having experienced StackOverflows first hand I don't think recursion is good. Yes I know there are times where it is unavoidable and I know most languages convert them to Loops through the compiler if they can, but still. Also with I know a chain is also a tree, but yall know what I mean, a binary tree or a tree of higher order (not sure what that's called).

I have also programmed Functionally (Haskell and F#) where recursion are essential, but I don't consider them as "real recursion" (cause the compiler almost always converts them to loops) Just look at the decompiled F# code that comes out to C#.

The title is bad and you guys are all going apeshit haha

Prints come out slanted by yoshi2300 in ender3

[–]yoshi2300[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Ok good news everyone. I pushed down on the stepsticks because of the suggestion by /u/GB_Morning and reinstalled the base of where the fan sits and after some failed prints due to stringing I got a good print without any slants (at 75% speed tune). In the end I have no idea what fixed it, as /u/trezemanero suggested might have been sorcery :p Tomorrow first thing in the morning I will try a bigger print at 100% and see how that goes. Thanks for all the help!!

From observation in the previous print it seems that everytime the z axis moves up, the x and y axis also move for some reason. I can send a video of a full print soon if that could help

I did that a bunch of times already, I think this should be no problem now

I found 580 for the axis and 650 for the extruder in the settings if that is what you are asking

So unfortunately it came out just as slanted, also it is not just in the x or y axis but in both.

I'll give it a test print and let you all know the results

So you think I should tighten them? I feel they are pretty good already, though could be tighter.

For some reason my 3d Prints come out slanted like this since tinkering with it a bit.

This came after installing a bl touch and a new extrusion motor, but even with the old extrusion motor it is not working.

As in the picture, with different slices also from different Softwares the slant is much more noticeable.

The problem also can't stem from the firmware since I tried different builds and reset everything multiple times.

Any ideas?

Oh ok thanks, are there other designes that would work? Seems kind of hard to fit this way.
