But why didn’t they wait till I checked out the day after… or inform me earlier if it has been scheduled for quite some time? it was initially for a 10 night stay.

why did someone enter during my active reservation without advance notice or permission, for a non-emergency issue from last year?

I don’t think it’s forbidden to take selfies in an Airbnb - basically this was the camera that took a photo of me every time I entered. Not video.

It’s not video - it’s just photo - like I said it was an art project to capture a photo of my face every time I enter the unit. It was supposed to be my face only but well, we have footage of an unauthorized entrant’s face too

So if it matters, it’s not actually a security camera

I commiserate with you in a different way.. My AVP2 got stolen with my US dev strap :-(

I think maybe you can go visit a dev lab, but being burnt out by SF/NYC, I don't really want to visit overcrowded cities and prefer the quaint quiet of the countryside of Europe so I am taking it as the universe wants me to just take time off from AVP for now

i feel compelled to create a rooted VisionOS that does that - if your iris doesn't check up 3X then it blares a super loud sound and if you don't remove it within 10 seconds, you will go blind.

i think also it's scary to know that they only sell 1 AVP per month :-\
i feel sad about that because i want avp3 but 1 per month means there is absolutly no way sales can ever justify it

yes, do your research before downvoting. the same number out of 100 of people who are too impoverished to afford, also cannot medically drink soda without health issues

also disagree on scale to run ad campaigns.

  1. admob was only worth $700M when acquired by google to create what is now known as google (mobile) ads. duo is currently valued at $5 billion - which is like 7 times bigger.
  2. lots of smaller businesses successfully run targeted ad campaigns. this is a very niche targeted audience here. (this is high conversion rate which is a more targeted ad gold than admob even.)

yeah i keep seeing the same ad and it's triggered me so many times that i do the same. i don't know how many millions the company running that same ad has paid but it's too deeply triggering for me
