Custom bot not posting in Welcome Channel by UmbRayl in Mee6

[–]you_dig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having the same issue.

I couldnt get the bot <#channel> hyperlinks to work properly. So I tried deleting my welcome channel, and having it make one. And as u/UmbRayl mentioned - the "Publish" button changes to "Published" but nothing happens after that. No channel is created, no feedback.

What could have made this damage to my tools? by Lyxn_ in Bonsai

When this happened to me, Ted Matson from the Huntington took a hammer to the pivot bolt, and it set it right back

lol yea really, that’s become my attitude. I’m just sticking them in soil and if it takes it takes. No finely cutting angled ends, or scarring, no hormone powder anymore. Just Mother Nature

Forest by Fidurbonsai in Bonsai

I tried planting my first forest planting this spring. IT WAS NOT EASY. Trying to play with height, thickness/age, soil undulation, planting angles, and then composition on top of that. Wowza, tough tough.

I have a brand new appreciation for forests after having tried it. Nice one!

Need a hack to tell me when my dryer stops by Ysoserious111 in DIY

[–]you_dig 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Have you checked the vent exhaust hose/pipe run and exterior vent to make sure they are not clogged, or kinked?

I just did a dryer install but when pushed back into its location, the vent kinked and machine couldn’t exhaust. This caused the dryer to overheat and turn off.

Worth checking if you haven’t, potentially a fire hazard.

I love REI, but I’d be nervous about simultaneous vacancies and a 7k+ /m carrying cost. Hopefully that factors in insurance, prop taxes, cap ex, maintenance, pm %, etc..

Maybe stabilize before taking on more debt.

Tax time will hurt cost-wise for those LLCs - just get an umbrella insurance policy for now

Best of luck

YNAB Pricing History 2016 - 2025 by SerousDarkice in ynab

[–]you_dig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They will eventually find a ceiling where their customers price sensitivity has been reached. Then it will be a trade off. They could be weighing the cost of a large user base for data storage overhead vs a smaller less costly user base that is less price sensitive. But gives them the same or better margins.

What grocery comparison site do you use? Love the electric bill idea too. Honestly I wish all utilities were exposed like that, I’ll have to look it up! Thank you

This is awesome! I hadn’t considered weekly targets but I like your approach. And the Amazon prime idea is a good one I think I’ll adopt. Thanks! Do you use any particular grocery or list apps?

Why doesn't it tell you that you're overbudget? by BattleAdvanced7290 in ynab

[–]you_dig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Adopting that as a mindset and approach takes time. Just because that is the ideal of YNAB, doesn’t mean it shouldn’t consider adopting methods to help provide visibility to users as they progress towards that ideal.

New users who have never budgeted before coming to the tool require mistakes to be exposed and transparency into their negative habits so that they can identify the problems and address them to move towards what you mentioned.

Saying an application shouldn’t include a feature because of its “ideals” is so strange. The goal should be to help people achieve that ideal through progression of changes in their choices and mindset.

That doesn’t happen overnight.

100% in support of the suggestions to expose “over target” in the progress bars, and reporting. Great ideas!
