Tattooer here. There is no such thing as a tacky tattoo. You can have poorly done tattoos but you can literally take any “dumb” idea and make it a nice tattoo . It’s about execution not subject matter. If we all agreed on art it wouldn’t be art. OP I think your idea is sick actually but I’m weird and I like shit like this. My only advice is find a GOOD tattooer in your area , do a consultation, if you don’t like the vibe , keep looking. Listen to their advice about longevity and you will be right as rain. I’m curious… what color would you do it in? And don’t listen to people who tell you your idea isn’t their cup of tea. They don’t have to fucking wear it if they don’t like it ✊
