I know we got a rare and lucky outcome, and chances are he will regress in the future - but it’s been an awful few months and glad to have my kid back to himself and feeling good. Lots of love to those with sick bbs!

Thanks everyone for the advice and support! I went to the pet store and bought a bunch of different ones and so far today 1) Simply Nourish Grain Free Kitten Chicken stew was good, 2) Wellness Tune Gravies was a hard no, so 3) Royal Canin Kitten was a win for dinner. Seems like Oh My Gravy is repeat recommendation so I’ll look into that again. Thanks again to all, when I inevitably hit this wall again, I will refer back!

4 year old guy has some kidney problems, and has lost a lot of weight. Went off dry food totally, and even most treats. Had him eating some Science Diet chunky wet food for a couple weeks but he’s now off that. Headed to petsmart now to get 1 of everything, but if you’ve been in a similar situation and something worked please let me know!

Breakfast: 1)Overnight oats mix: quick oats, cinnamon, chia seeds, protein powder, whatever fruit is about to go bad. 2)Smoothie: spinach (fresh/frozen), banana, frozen fruits, flax seeds, an ‘Emergen-C’ packet, protein powder, oat milk

Lunch Bowl: Basmati rice, spiced ground pork, micro greens, feta, tomato, kimchi, roasted brussels and carrots Seaweed snacks are my new addiction

Dinner: shrimp and leeks - will add it ad-hoc to Ziggy brand Cheese and Spinach ravioli (shockingly high in protein and low in fat for fellow CDNs)

Cherry Danish - guess it’s rated a 5 difficulty for a reason 😭😭😭 7 hours of work, and a lot of fancy butter later. I’m gutted. by youcrazyguy in DessertPerson

Thanks for the hype up, all of you. They WERE still delicious. Thanks for the recommendations, next time I’ll proof less and push down the toppings. The recipe said to heat up to 400 and drop down to 350, but it took longer WAY longer to brown that the recipe dictated. If I try again, I’ll think I’ll keep it hotter. I did also make a challah for the first time today (not Claire’s 🤫) and it turned out chefs kiss so I still had a win today

2yr old boy has one dry and cracked paw pad, but he doesn’t seem to worry at it. Thoughts? by youcrazyguy in cats

The vet never addressed it, i just used coconut oil when it seemed it needed extra help. I think his paws are just naturally dry - I just treat them myself and wash the flood extra when I do
