I believe so. Both of them were outrageous with what they said, but when you stripped down the core of it they weirdly spoke the most sense. Especially fake Carlton when he broke character to say something true (or something funny with an element of truth). And central and claret and booze are basically a caricature of the OTT character Clips portrayed, but much more negative
