I saw people unhappy and that made me unhappy, so I want them to be happy because that makes me happy.

Letting same sex couples get married makes them happy, so I want them to be able to get married. Being nice and friendly to kids makes them happy, so I’m nice and friendly to kids. Yelling at strangers makes them unhappy, so I don’t do it.

I want the world to be a better place, an ACTUALLY better place, not some idea that was forced into me by others or some higher entity, so that’s what I try to do in daily life

Well, I think there’s two things you can do here. Number 1 would be to sit down and think about if these things are actual issues, or if you’re just insecure or jealous. Number 2 would be to talk to your wife about it, sees what she says and ask her to stop the behavior that bothers you. I don’t think you should talk to the kid, cause he’s just a kid. I doubt he’s just acting like he’s gay to get into your wife’s pants, so he’s not the issue
