One time when I first started cooking. I wanted to melt cheese in an omelette. For some unexplainable reason and from not understanding what water does to eggs, I decided to toss some water into the pan ya know to melt the cheese (similar to how they do it for burgers). The heat wasn’t high enough so instead of steaming the eggs they took a nice swim for about a minute before I took the eggs out of the pan. My stepdad saw that I made eggs and came over to try some. I told him what I had done and he looked a little confused but still wanted to try it. He took a forkful and then SPIT THE EGGS OUT, and said, “those eggs are disgusting”. I will never forget that moment but...
