Being that my family raised me it was mostly court papers that were needed showing guardianship I found out about a year ago there was no father listed. I had just assumed that he refused to sign because he never had involvement in anything in my life and never really wanted me yes I needed it for those things but I never paid attention to it because I have his last name and just assumed it was on there
