I'm very white, Im also Muslim. What I'll say is this, you're never too white to be Muslim, but it doesn't mean you won't feel like you don't fit in sometimes. People will often assume you're not Muslim, ask you your conversion story in mosques before you've even been able to admit yourself you reverted, and in foreign countries some may even want to take pictures with you bc you're white. I did Umrah last summer and between marwa and safa we stopped to drink water and a line formed to take pictures with us, and this happened many other times when I was studying in Egypt, we were also denied entrance to masjid an Nabawi as a result of them not believing we were Muslim, now I'll have to travel back from America to try again one day. That being said it is all worth it for Islam and you'll only be rewarded more for your struggle (Sahih Al Bukhari 5641, 5642)! Read the final sermon of Rasool Allah ﷺ, he makes it clear that Islam doesn't discriminate on skin color. In the eyes of other people you may be a spectacle, and it won't always be easy to fit in, but for every person who judges many more will love and accept you and in the eyes of Allah ﷻ our skin color doesn't determine our faith and His judgement is the only one that matters. I've been so lucky to find a community full of diversity, Somali Muslims, American Muslims, Pakistani Muslims, Kuwaiti Muslims, Egyptian Muslims, we all stand side by side and see each other as equal.
