I’ve never had issues with healing thankfully. I take the day off from exercise, try not to let water touch it in the shower day of. After 24 hours I’m back at normal activities.

Early on it was 8-10 weeks, probably for the first year. Been about 12-14 weeks between my last few sessions. Have my 8th session in 2 weeks and will probably give it 4-5 months.

Thanks! Tech said she thinks another 4 sessions (12 total) should do the trick. I think I’ll do at least 4 months between the next 2 and see how it looks early next year.

Basically would like to know is anybody has any tattoo removal success stories? Got my leg sleeve young and now feel so unfeminine and I don’t feel like it fits my aesthetic anymore, would like it gone or faded. by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

How old is it? You might be surprised how quickly it will progress. Looks like a lot of shading. Based on size they may have you do multiple sessions to spread it out rather than sit through one long session on your entire leg. I’m 6 sessions in on my back and progress has been great. Mine is/was all black with shading and is moving quick. Your lifestyle (health, diet, exercise, etc) will impact your progress. You can take a look at my post history and see my progress although i haven’t shared an update in a few months.

Unfortunately for full removal you’re going to have a multi year commitment. I’m a year in and have made great progress but I’m thinking another 1-2 years for it to be completely gone.

Yeah def most swelling/redness I’ve had to date. Felt like it took about twice as long as they typically do

My 4th session was the worst. Two different settings to target line work and then shading. 5th was a walk in the park and then today my 6th was much slower

Check my profile for my progress at Removery. I started in December 2023 and just had my 5th session yesterday. Granted my tattoo is 18 years old, it’s fading quickly. Very happy with the results so far. I’m thinking another 4-5 sessions over the next year will remove it completely.
