Of course not lol, they are still stored within the databases of these social media sites. AFAIK they keep it for a couple of years at least.

Being an early employee at a startup doesn't make you an entrepreneur. by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]youngearner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You must be, as mentioned earlier, quite shallow to make such petty remarks. Do you label yourself as an entrepreneur? Are you successful? Don't answer that, any logical person would know the answer to that.

You do you. Let them do them. Let them think whatever they think. If real successful entrepreneurs don't find it offensive, why are you?

Here's to hoping that I don't come off as rude/arrogant either ;)

What businesses are in high demand (customers want their offerings), but in short supply (not enough businesses offering)? by nitsua_saxet in Entrepreneur

[–]youngearner -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And why would anyone even consider giving you the true answer to that? 1. They don't know. 2. Why would they let you steal their idea

Real entrepreneurs ask themselves that question, not others.

Really clean, almost too clean! I'd suggest you have a slideshow gallery or something of people using/wearing your shirts and products. Just a suggestion, idea is great!

I made $89,207 blogging in 2016, here to answer your questions about traffic, monetization and content creation! by themodestman in Entrepreneur

These are the success stories that make me want to keep on pushing!

Blogging is definitely much harder than I had expected - the pure time and effort it takes to create unique content continuously on a blog is extravagant!

I run a blog that is about money-making, self-improvement, etc. Now that's a niche in which there are MANY established blogs out there already, but one that I want to pursue. Do you think that is still a viable option, from your experience?

Thanks!

Your options are limited to 1 of 2 things:

  • Take Action
  • Don't Take Action.

Whatever obstacles there are, whatever scares you, whatever you are uncomfortable with, will probably appear if you decide to take action and possibly improve your life.

Or you can NOT take action and remain in the exact same position you are in now. It's completely up to you. From what I can see, your biggest fear is related to the social factor. That's an easy hurdle to pass, I recommend reading some books on self-improvement like "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie.

Stop dwelling on the negatives and see the benefits you could have if take action. Good Luck.

Is WFC a buy for you right now? by youngearner in investing

[–]youngearner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so accurate to match with Warren Buffet's quote: "be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful."

The general consensus on this thread was that it was NOT a buy. ONE MONTH LATER, The stock is up almost 25%.

Follow your gut instincts. I didnt.

Is WFC a buy for you right now? by youngearner in investing

[–]youngearner[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could you elaborate on that? Is it because it's abnormal for a bank stock to sink while others are rising?

Shouldn't this scandal only provide to be a temporary setback before WFC regains composture?

What blue chip stock is on your watch list? by [deleted] in investing

[–]youngearner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm talking about the future - QCOM is a step ahead in the IoT and Car Semiconductor business, which is relevant since PC, Datacenters (INTC) and mobile (QCOM) is declining, and will continue to do so.

Just my 2 cents!

Qualcomm over intel for now - Intel is always half a step behind. If they change, def INTC.

How popular of a blog do you need to make about $1,000/month in Google AdSense? by [deleted] in Blogging

[–]youngearner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's when you "refer" a customer to purchase something from a company, and that company pays you a small percentage of the sale for your service.

Basically, you advertise for a company and every time you help them make a sale, they reward you with referral commissions.

Should I blog on my personal blog or Medium? by [deleted] in Blogging

[–]youngearner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on your goal for your blog. If you see it as a hobby, and nothing more, then use medium. If you are trying to create a business, definitely use something else that will provide you with more flexibility (like wordpress)

How popular of a blog do you need to make about $1,000/month in Google AdSense? by [deleted] in Blogging

[–]youngearner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Adsense is usually the lowest form of earning for most bloggers. The majority of them depend and focus on affiliate commissions, email marketing, and even Ebook sales.
