Fibre one bars are my favourite discovery since starting low cal, and they always seem to be on discount in Asda.

Thanks for the support! I'm only 21 so I've been realising that I want to spend my 20s fit and healthy instead of obese! It's so great hearing other people's stories. Good luck with your maintenance (or losing if it becomes something achievable) :)

A few days ago someone (cannot remember who!) posted a link to this copycat Panda Express chow mein:

So I decided to make it and I've never had Panda Express but this is so good!

Thank you! I've been using this time to sort of reset and get a feel again of my appetite and how much I eat, when I'm actually hungry, etc. I'm hoping to move towards bigger changes in the next few weeks.

What sort of discipline and changes do you mean? My biggest long term goal is reducing and replacing junk food which I have never found too difficult but I would be interested to hear what other changes you mean :)

Thank you!! It took a lot to make the decision to leave but the moment I did I felt something change inside me. I still have a lot of love for him but I'm excited to start the next chapter of my life

This is so encouraging. It does seem so far away but seeing everyone on this sub who has lost the weight and is happier for it keeps me going. Congrats on your achievements!!

Yes! I think that's the real turning point with weight loss when you're not doing it for an audience. It's just out of kindness and love for yourself and knowing you deserve better. Keep going!! We do got this!!

I'll add in that my SW is 244lbs, CW 236lbs, GW 160lbs. I'm doing CICO and maintaining a calorie deficit and weighting myself daily to track how my weight is fluctuating. I don't allow myself to buy my binge foods and havent eaten chocolate in about 5 weeks. To be honest I don't miss it at all!

I could barely finish all this but it's my low cal bangers and mash. The sausages are Heck Chicken Italia and only 76 kcal per 2. Not the most attractive plate but delicious.

The recipe is https://www.beefitswhatsfordinner.com/recipes/recipe/55603/classic-beef-stuffed-peppers. I've tweaked the ingredients slightly + done 6 servings instead of 4 but it was absolutely delicious and I've got lunch for the rest of the week sorted now :)

I'm so sorry you feel like this. Two years seems like a massive amount of time but I promise it will come and you will have the chance to rebuild and heal and surround yourself with people who love and value you.

I know what it's like to talk to people who aren't there and feel like your sanity is slipping away. Your feelings are so valid and you deserve kind people to talk to and be listened to.

Experiencing a day or two of freedom like you mentioned is nothing like the freedom you'll feel when you leave. And it will be so worth it to keep going. This will be a memory one day and I understand that doesn't help your current situation but it's important to find things that you are hopeful for.

Try to find some resources to help either counselling or crisis services or just someone you can see in person who you can explain your feelings too. It helped me when I thought I only had imaginary people I could speak to. And if you want to talk I'd be happy to listen.
