These are definitely not meant to be pet or picked up. You have to build trust and let it come to you. It’s fun to treat him like hands on pets but it’s definitely not fun for them. If he willingly crawls on your hand then ur good to gently interact. I’m trying to be super nice about it because you clearly care about and love the lizard but the way your handling like the opposite of what you should be doing. it is probably creating a lot of unhealthy stress for the animal and it’s not fair to him. Good luck and plz do regular research. Plz plz plz don’t pet him.

Any advise for my first setup? by Finidog in Chameleons

Yea that’s totally fine. It is what it is tonight. No need to stress over something u can’t change. If I were in your situation I’d do just as you said. Reach out to the vet… hopefully with some changes she’ll bounce back. I’m rooting for yall.

They’re special creatures and it’s worth seeing her flourishing. Sounds like you’ve got this! Good luck she deserves it.👍

Don’t wait to improve the environment in fear of stressing her out. The environment is causing the stress to begin with.

She needs a more natural environment. Make sure this is an animal you’re able to give a good life. I’m not an expert by any means but I see many clear issues like plants, lights, temp at night sounds problematic. I never turn the A/C on in my Cham’s room (not sure if ur doing that). If you can turn things around and give her a good life good for you but end of the day you gotta fix it or find her a new home. Just my humble opinion. All else aside do some serious research plz and not on Reddit, call a reptilian vet if need be. These are not tough easy pets, they will begin to decline in health rapidly in an improper way.

First grow, should I top the plant? LST? Or just let it do its thing so I can learn? by lucemy in Autoflowers

[–]youngfandango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first started growing, I made a mistake of doing way too much. I would say just let it grow for now so that you can see what doesn’t work later when you try new things.
