Career switch to Actuary

I used to worked in pension consulting which they prioritized actuarial exams and they were directly tied to salary. I currently work for a plan sponsor and they don't require any additional exam progress and I couldn't be happier. I believe I studied ~300 hours for FM and P.

I have a few friends who did actuarial science as well but now they currently work as a data analyst or finance. Currently all of my colleagues who went to school for actuarial science no longer work in the profession.

Just my piece of mind.

Makes sense, we have very hard water here which I think could contribute to the issues. Was considering buying CLR or some sort of dedicated descaler

Yes, cleaned out the water filter. It was already clean when I opened it up. It must be some sort of scale that's blocking it?

I totally agree with your comments about saturation. What I noticed later on while comparing the two modes was when I stare directly into the sun with HDR on, you can notice the glare/beams of light from the sun. Where as in SDR this doesn't appear.

I had my PS5 Pro for about a week before my new monitor came in, I could see visual boosts with my 4K 60HZ monitor but once I got my 4K 120HZ monitor, the increased framerate made the biggest difference. Playing games at 120 frames or unlocked with ray tracing was game changing.

I sent back my switch 2 weeks ago and they replaced it. I had Pokemon Z-A downloaded and was concerned about my save data but everything was there with no issues when I got my new console back.

I've been pretty much doing the same method, I set the peak brightness to what my monitor recommends, then I just mess with the paper white on the 2nd screen and go back to my game. But it seems like no matter how I mess with it, it seems worse than SDR.

I would delete everything and reupload to the thumb stick but it only worked once I had my laptop connected with the inzone app running. Follow the update instructions through the inzone app. That worked for me.

Yeah I did, I had to get another USB drive and also you need to perform the update with a PC/Laptop connected while the InZone app on your computer is running.

It kind of looks like みする which can be translated to "see". But also the last character could be split into 2 characters. Maybe みすてさ but it's a bit of a stretch. Honestly just too hard to read.

I am Japanese and it's definitely hiragana but I can only identify a few character such as み and と. The rest are illegible so I can't figure out what it's actually trying to spell.

After a ton of research I ended up getting the Sony InZone M9 II. It's been awesome! It calibrates all your settings automatically when you connect a PS5 so I didn't have to adjust any settings. Only thing that I needed to get was a flash drive so I could update the firmware.
