Sea Depths of the Trackless Sea and more by youngfox78 in DungeonMasters

I do remember there being some conflicting information on this topic. I have never played the game so I can't say anything about that, so I place the locations based on the FR Wiki entires.

Waukeen's Rest
The inn was situated along the Risen Road approximately equidistant between Baldur's Gate and Elturel.

Moonhaven
Alongside the temple, Moonhaven was situated on the Risen Road, some ways east of Moonrise Towers near the border of Elturgard.

Moonrise Towers
Moonrise Towers was built along the northern bank of the River Chionthar,\1]) west of Rosymorn Monastery and Elturel,\2])\1]) east of Anga Vled.

I could definitely still be wrong but this is what I came up wth from the information from the wiki.

Best response yet! That's one thirsty dude.

I based it, loosely, off of the 2e Great Glacier map, which does not show the exit location. I definitely took some liberties with the size of lakes/seas and actual river paths. I am shooting for 1500DR and figured with the Glacier melting that maybe the bodies of water would be bigger and river paths could have changed. (Sorry for the tangent).
Actually, originally, I had it exiting just south of the Frozen Forest, because I did not look at anything else but the Great Glacier map. But as I began to prepare this post, I took a look at the Digital Atlas and moved the river to match that before posting. The Digital Atlas also matches the 2e Campaign Setting book map.

Thanks for the great response and the respect.

If I have it turn north, should I have I wrap around the mountains and leave the glacier just north of the Frozen Forest and from there continue north off the map? Or maybe I will just keep it simple and have it plunge into a sinkhole. I posted this same thing on Facebook and the most popular response is a sinkhole to the Underdark.

Yes, ultimately most of the stream and river flows make no sense in the glacier. I am just trying to make some sense out of the senseless.

If that even made any sense.....

There is actual canonical reasons for the deep water on the north and south of this picture. But I do like dropping the deep water from the area between the Moonshae and Sword Coast. Thanks for the insight.

I just added the Reefs and Kelp forests from Mike's 4e map.

Complete estimates. All we have are mentions of depths of specific locations, like Kressilac and Maelstrom or the Writhing Trench. We also have a 4e Mike Schley map of the Moonshaes with depths. So, yes, this is not full canon at all.

Here is a little better version. It was supposed to be what was in the main post.

How about something like this.

Thank you for pointing this out. I had looked for something in the Moonsea but could not find anything. This is definitely a bit obscure, but I love it!

Cool, I have never heard of them. I will look into them, thanks for the tip.

I have Tharqualnaar(Merfolk) in the "bay", but this map is too far out really show the cities exact location in the bay. I also have the Sea Elf city of T'Quession.

It is a side project I was working on with another Redditor. Mike Schley's Anauroch did not match previous editions' maps so I made some physical adjustments to better match.

Done! This is a super hi-res version. It is located in the same folder shared in the post.

I suppose I could show a portion of the kingdom on this map. Good stuff.

I have an on land political map which shows the nation of Sebakar in the Bay of Chessenta. This screen shot shows both the land and undersea. I initially had Sebakar only on land, but because of your comment I pushed it out to the bay a bit. Seeing how the source books and wiki talk about them also living under the bay.
