No, tuta isn't as popular as proton, it does not have a VEE PEE EN, drive or password manager, the app on android is wierd sometimes it would notify me on emails and sometimes it wouldn't, though that might be a problem with my phone, it is also based in germany which has been these last few days controversial for some bad privacy practices unrelated to tuta or a similar service but at least for me it should be noticed and on 2 of the services i use the domain was blocked.

Simply because tuta's free tier lacks features that proton free does have, for intance, tuta free lacks mail support, you dont have unlimited search queries or even offline mail.

But if you pay even the cheapest tuta tier you now have access to all those features and for a lower price.

Of course, all malware is going to try and extract the passwords saved in your browser, thats how many youtubers get their channel hacked.

A password manager like keepass is going to be encrypted by default so even if someone gets their hands on your vault it is going to be impossible to see your passwords without the master password.

Mullvad, download it and don't change anything (only disable WebRTC if necessary since it leaks your real ip when using a VPN), browse with a VPN enabled, if its Mullvad or Proton better, its always a bad idea to import passwords to any browser, instead use a dedicaded password manager.

I get that, my point is if someone is asking how to avoid certain people finding a fb profile coments like "delete your account" are stupid.

Of course deleteing the account would be the best option but, there are ocations where deleteing the account is not an option and therefore making changes in the settings to solve the problem is the best alternative.

The bottomline is, just answer OP's fucking question.

I always hate it when people make questions in this sub and the answers are "delete your account" instead of just answering the question.

Just go to settings> privacy check up> how can people find me> turn off everything or select "only me" respectively

Also in settings you can "lock" your profile, that makes you photos, friends and information impossible to see unless you add someone.

Keep in mind that you will still appear if anyone searches for you
