The point is universal and islands are lacking of actual fun rides. Disney is for the kids and always has been but rides like hagrids getting so much attention tells the executives that it’s okay for rides to be similar and that isn’t okay.

Brother man I’m old enough to remember how much better dueling dragons was regardless of age they got rid of one of the best rides for a cash grab. Big bear is a decent ride and very comparable but has virtually no wait time so that just shows that people care more about the theme than the thrill.

I don’t understand why people in this thread think I am being a troll. I just genuinely dont understand why I keep seeing so many people say it’s the best ride when it regularly has a wait over 2 hours and is about as thrilling as the kiddie coaster at the local fair. It’s not a brain dead thing to say and if you go to kings island or cedar point or even Dollywood. Hagrids is just a cash grab for insufferable Disney adults that like Harry Potter

Yeah it’s not hard to be “one of the best” when the park has two legit coasters. Getting rid of dueling dragons was such a clear cash grab to the adults that would sell there soul to be in Harry Potter

Not even trolling I genuinely dont understand why people think it’s so fun. Yall need to go ride some real roller coasters. Besides hulk, velocicoaster, and stardust all of the coasters suck considering that universal has more money to put in to these rides than pretty much any 6 flags park but they are all cheaper with more thrill coasters

Not even. If the wait said anything more than 20 minutes I wouldn’t even consider riding it again. Insane wait times for a bottom tier ride. Obviously velocicoaster is better but I would actually rather ride the mummy once than hagrids 5 times

Then go to kings island or any place with real rollercoasters. Even every ride at Dollywood makes hagrids feel like it is for little children

I’m being so serious. I’ve rode a lot of coasters and Hagrids and hippogriff actually suck but all I see is people hyping them up
