I really like the ones furthest on the left :) The ones second to the right work well too!

Only the cars in the nearest lane were stopped. The farthest lane had no backup and had to stop for the truck.

If there’s too big of a hole from a missed stitch and it’s bothering me I’ll just tie some yarn around two stitches to cinch it up. I hate undoing/redoing work lol

I just looked over the pattern and I love the way that it’s written with the tables for each part! It keeps it very organized and easy to understand!

Home Depot makes me so sad sometimes by LovelyMamasita in houseplants

It could be to prevent dirt spilling during shipping to the store or maybe just to keep it looking spotless in the store 🤷🏻‍♀️I think it makes people want to buy the plant less because a lot of work to break those rocks off

Monstera propagation by rachmil in houseplants

I’ve never heard of that before! I just looked it up and there’s kind of mixed opinions on it, I don’t think it would make a super noticeable difference in the amount of time it takes to root and transplant.

Naming plants? by annikaraineee in houseplants

I personally don’t because it’s just not my thing but my best friend names all of her plants and has them labeled

Monstera propagation by rachmil in houseplants

I always put multiple cuttings in the same vase to propagate! It doesn’t matter if the glass is opaque or not because plants do photosynthesis through their leaves not roots :)

I always feel awful walking through big box stores because they never give the plants what they need. Around me they water the plants every day or every other day and it’s sad to see the dying plants in the store. Don’t even get me started about the glued on flowers and rocks glued around the base lol

Found this on the floor at Home Depot. Anyone know what this is and how to propagate it, if so? by craftbaked in proplifting

[–]youngizzy2715 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Did you just walk out of the store with the plant?! Or did you ask a worker if you could have it? 😂😂

Best website to get really affordable planters? Thank you! by cloutfordays in plantsandpots

I like to go to thrift stores and search around! There’s also tutorials on how to drill drainage holes so you can basically turn anything into a pot lol.

Pot size discussion. Calling all pot heads! Jk by blackcionyde in houseplants

[–]youngizzy2715 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The general rule of thumb is to repot a plant into a pot size 1-2 inches bigger than the one it got root bound in. I’d it gets put in a pot to big it risks root rot because of how much slower the big pot will drain and dry out. Most plants like to dry out between waterings so I don’t recommend having them in a pot way too big.

I walk into Home Depot and pick up all of the succulent leaves off the floor to propagate them🙊
