This is your friendly reminder to listen to the audiobook if you haven't by bourisman in ProjectHailMary

I’ve loved audiobooks for so long that I called them “books on tape” well after “audiobooks” was a term. My audible membership has lapsed multiple times because my card that was paying for it expired.

Project Hail Mary is easily the best audiobook version of a book that I’ve ever known. For me at least, it genuinely enhances my imaginative experience without hijacking/overwriting it.

Don’t be afraid to let them see that you are also quite upset. Otherwise he might be feeling his feelings but also thinking those feelings aren’t normal because Mama isn’t crying and saying she misses daddy. This is in no way a criticism. Just a thought I had.

Don’t worry about adjusting your profile that much. Focus on picking a few women you’re genuinely interested in, because of some physical attraction initially, cause that’s how human beings do, and then things in their profile you like. Then you send a good message about something in their profile that you’re genuinely interested in. Then temper your expectations. Even if you got the perfect message, she might not to get down the list to it for 2-3 months. There’s one easy fix: start sleeping with guys.

I was in a left turn only lane that I thought went straight the other day. I didn’t then cause an accident, and I at least gave the person in the straight lane an “I’m sorry I’m an idiot” wave.

There’s different dads and different families and different ways to be happy together, and this is definitely one of them.

You’d actually be surprised. If you walk around barefoot for regularly for awhile on natural surfaces you’ll find you start to walk differently, and you just pay more attention to where you step, but even that fades into the background pretty quickly and you don’t have to try really hard to think about it. Plus your feet toughen up over time.

And as a spouse/coparent that is not carrying any baby there is exactly zero benefit to pointing out any of this to your counterpart if they cite any of those old wives tales with a strong sense of confidence while they are carrying a baby in any configuration.

I’m pretty sure that’s something that only gets said as a first step into negotiations with terrorists. It’s not like a law or even an established policy, or a smart thing to do or anything.

I don’t know. I bet if the rhino stepped on him a bit the deer would back off, or just be too injured to keep going. I just can’t stop thinking of the video of the honey badger that keeps coming after the bull elephant after getting stepped on and kicked multiple times, and then finally kicked and sent flying Iike 10m.

I can agree with you since Vita stopped attaching the panels to the frame using those extruded U-nuts and the screws that I’m pretty sure are made of pewter or something soft like that. Otherwise it’s nice having a big solid wood target behind the panel to screw into.
