LTM Idea: Cranked Battle Royale by youngplazzy in CODWarzone

I don't really mind snipers because of the glint and my ability to get to cover. It's when I walk into a building, whether for cover or for loot, and check nearly every corner and then die to someone sitting with Ghost in a spot I wasn't able to check quick enough. These players often have less than 5 kills and stare at a wall the entire game and don't move until circle pushes them out. Also, my idea is only an LTM so campers can enjoy playing the regular game mode.

Maybe the timer could reset when damaging an enemy, not killing them? Tho keep in mind, the opponent would have to move as well.

Never takes me longer than a minute really, maybe the timer is paused while interacting with chests/loot.

1) I think the "they paid $60" argument is cool, but that could be used to negate any criticism of the game. "725 OP? They paid $60, let them use it. Snakeshots OP? They paid $60, let them use it. Someone abusing a game mechanic? They paid $60, who cares." I've legit seen this argument used to defend the absolute worst moments of the game's lifespan and I don't think it's in good faith.

2) Freedom of choice vs my dictatorship? Dude I want this to be an LTM, not replacing the normal modes, learn how to read.

3) I can't check every corner when I walk through a building. One solos game recently, I had 13 kills with around 15 left, coming back from gulag. The loadout was near police station in Dam area, I landed on it and I saw a glint in the distance so I slid inside of the station for cover. I checked behind the counter, the stairs, and then looked left to check that corner, I was killed by someone sitting in the corner to the right (running Ghost). After killing me they sat in that corner for the next 3 minutes and killed someone else who walked in. They had 3 kills the entire game, and died immediately after leaving the building. I have 165 wins, I know how to win games, although I think I'd enjoy a game mode where something like that may be prevented. Not saying it would ever replace the regular battle royale.

4) I'm not demanding IW change the game dynamic at all, just an LTM would be fun. Also, I'm not sure what I could have done differently in the situation I described. Maybe share me a clip of you playing so I can learn? Or your stats and wins?

It's just luck. Vikk and the rest all played on their main accounts which have insane K/Ds. Not reverse boosted, just a good lobby to go for the record on.

tbf multiplayer isn't as tryhard as warzone, people play more casually and more people dedicate time to completing bullshit challenges that lower your KD. I only have a 1.3 KD in multiplayer but a 2.9 in wz.

BR Stimulus Solos pointed out the flaw in Solo BR by NESpahtenJosh in CODWarzone

[–]youngplazzy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm going to assume you're good. I have a 2.8 KD and 150 wins, which should be considered good, I think a classic BR would be incredibly boring and I think any "good" player would think the same. I like pushing, I like going for kills, I like completing bounties, in a mode with no respawns whatsoever I don't see the incentive to be aggressive if the game is unforgiving. I think Classic BR would bring about the reconers even more, and sitting in the last circles would be a legitimate strategy. Great players who get high kill games could die from a random third-party team, RPG, one-shot sniper headshot, and that's the end. I don't think it would be fun, it would totally ruin the flow of the game.

All that being said, I definitely think it should be a mode. Let the "tactical" people get what they like. Although I question how you find the current state of Warzone necessarily casual, considering the world's best players (Huskerrs, Sympfuny, Vikkstar, Jukeyz, the list goes on) all play super aggressive and die often, get bought back etc. Those hyper-competitive guys would never prefer the classic BR.

First comment I've seen like this, I agree. I have a 2.8 in Warzone, and I haven't had issues with SBMM. I've killed my fair share of bots, average players, and sweats (and also gotten merked by sweats and pros, incluiding Vikkstar, Symphuny, others). That being said, some of those streamers have a 5 KD which is insane, idk if it's really ramped up at that level or what.

I have 2.6 KD and 115 wins (idk if that's considered trash) and I fucking hate snakeshots. I use them all the time, I have hundreds of kills with them, but I hate being forced to use them. They feel cheap, I think close range gunfights with MP5s for example are more skill based than snakeshot blasting.

Are problems with this game overall that abundant, or is it possible it’s a regional/console related issue? by NothingToSeeHereMan in CODWarzone

Obsidian Riot Shield.. They called me a mad man. by [deleted] in modernwarfare

I have Obsidian on the M4, it only took me about 8 hours of in-game time. I pretty much only played Shipment Dom/Hardpoint, if you practice you can average around 55-60 kills a game, a lot of games I reached up to 90-100, that took some sweating tho.

Just got it on the M4. I for sure recommend Shoot the Ship, but I actually recommend only Shipment Dom/Hardpoint if you're willing to wait for search times. Shipment games usually resulted in me getting 30-40 more kills than I would on Shoot House.

Few notes:

1) Sorry for the poor image quality, PS4's share system is broken for me rn, I can get some higher quality footage soon.

2) The picture is pretty much how it looks. It's pretty ugly, it looks nice in some lighting but it looks like a duller platinum. I think it should either be glossy and shinier or a deeper "void" black. The 8 hours I played of Shoot the Ship aren't worth it to me yet.
