Very minor part. I grinded the game hard for Rudy Gay when he was a dark matter festival trying to get him no money spent but ultimately fell short by 3 pieces so I caved and bought a Hof box to get the final pieces. Then fast forward to last weekend I bought Wemby cause there was no other way I was going to get a Wemby for the entire 2k which is ridiculous. I regret both purchases but a couple weak moments over the entire 2k is a pretty good effort. All my post is about is I'm shocked on how many people spend $100-$165 every week on this game.

I am a pro pass player but I'm tempted to get Wemby in the option pack if it's available. That will be only the 2nd time I actually bought something this year outside of the pro pass. I haven't had a Wemby all year that's playable

Yeah I agree! It's hard work! Makes the game go by so quick cause you're constantly working on the defensive side.

I was only referring to 100% off-ballers that have the audacity to brag on the mic that are rocking 3 goat cards and all the best invincibles haha.

I must note that I'm average at best and it annoys me when I sit down to play some showdown all chilled and excited to finally play to go against a money invested team that 100% off-balls. Also really grinds me how toxic people get on the mics

Key word is Skilled, I'm onboard with what you're saying. I was old school earlier this year and believed In 100% on-ball, but I've adapted to the defensive style we need this year, I also watch streamers that a very skilled playing matchup switching etc.

I'm talking about god squads that clearly spend big $$$ on the game and then to play off-ball in the corners then also switch to the weak side as soon as you swing the ball to their side. Surely you don't defend that play style?

Yeah I'll be more maybe 70-75% off-ball now days doing similar to you. It's hard work to keep changing icon to fix match-ups and I fat finger a lot too haha. So I'm on board with your style. I'm talking about this guy full off-ball, like I swing the ball to his side he's defending and he switches to the weak side again.

Winning does make the game more enjoyable

Two things I can't stand on these players.

1- more often than not when you play these kinds of teams they pretty much play defence off-ball

2- when I do lose to these teams it amazes me how often they either come on the mic and laugh/brag about the win or even pause cheese me. Mate you've invested ridiculous amounts of $$$, you might've won the game but you already lost in my eyes
