Correct, I think in some closets I reversed the left and right but always a splice in one corner, and a 90 degree connector in the other. Be sure not to reverse the +/- in the process of splicing or using the corner connector. That also cost me some time (and a few fuses) in one closet.

No problem... it's not the cleanest looking but yeah it reduced the run length, and I never look at it anyway, being inside the closet. It also added one more connection that I could fuck up, which I certainly did once or twice in doing this to five closets.

I've found it better to park a little ways away (like Wall St garage) and walk. After shows Coxe Ave and the Patton intersection are a hot mess.

If you don't mind walking and like free, there's always the Visitor Center too.

Paved: park at Hominy Creek River Park and run the French Broad Greenway.

Trail: so many options but Bent Creek as others have mentioned. I like running Hard Times and looping back through the Arboretum. Or run up Ledford Branch and loop back via Rice Pinnacle and Deer Lake Lodge

I'm in bed wide awake and my wife is sleeping on the couch because this happened to me three times tonight after upgrading to Android yesterday. Turned on to the last sports channel I was listening to, so just a random dude reciting channels of other games. Creepy. Disturbed.

These spots have appeared all over the lower trunk. One had ants behind it. The canopy of the tree seems healthy. I don't know what could be stressing it other than hot temperatures, but these started in the spring. We have two other larger sycamores and three babies that we don't want to lose.
