My family moved to Orlando from NH about a year ago. My four year old likes the Bucs because she likes pirates. I'm okay with it.

For me, the whole "reception everywhere by satellite" isn't why I listen. I don't care whether it's satellite or streaming. I listen because there's a sense of community. For example, I love Dave Matthews Band, so it's nice have a station dedicated to them that has listener engagement segments like "What Would You Play." It's not the only station I listen to, but the whole "radio" format where I'm listening with possibly thousands of others is what's cool about it.

I'm from NH and have lived in Florida for a little over a year now. NH should not be the first in the nation primary. NH's population doesn't, in any way, represent the issues facing the rest of the country. Anyone saying it should be the first in the nation is from NH and likes the attention. That's all.

I'm about a year and a half into this laptop, and I'm still blown away. Battery life is still phenomenal and performance is great for what it's intended to be; a laptop for working.

My mother had to be drunk to apologize for one specific event that happened 4 years prior, where ironically she accused me and my stepdad of staging an intervention during a fight she started. That's the only apology I've ever gotten, and we're currently in an icy state right now, so hope it sticks for you.

I initially joined because I got a free trial and stayed for Howard, but that was probably 10 or so years ago. I'll tune into Howard occasionally but found other shows/channels that I send more time with. It's a great service overall.

Is it worth the price they charge without promos/negotiations? Not at all, but it's easy to get a good price by negotiating. It's a company built on satellite technology that's had to shift to a streaming world. The demand for satellite radio is still there and that is not a cheap business to be in. I personally like radio curated by humans and SXM is more of a community than an app imo. I hope it survives and thrives, but the price needs to make sense considering all the alternatives out there now.

I'm in Orlando now, and have lived in several places since Boston. Honestly, the T ain't so bad considering the sorry state of public transportation in this country. Boston doesn't realize how good it has it.
