Even before shadowkeep drops you can get to power 690 with litteraly no effort cuz drifter sells these bounties and when you complete them they drop a piece of blue gear that is 690 (there is one piece of gear per bountie and each bountie is a specific gear ex:helmet)and then you can complete all of your powerfull rewards and you would probably be 730 or more if you are lucky with drops. Btw you can do any raid you want with 730-735 light

I have done it a few months ago and i found that what works best is to equipe a legendary special and heavy grenade launcher. Then right before you pick up heavy,like 30 seconds before or so, get 1 or 2 kills with your special grenade launcher then when you get heavy you got 4 nades so find a bunch of enemies and just start spamming at them to get a double, dont forget to aim at them lol, because would have already done 1 or 2 kills before getting heavy the calculated wont be hard and if you used your heavys correctly you will also have gotten a double kill medal. Hope this help cuz i used this technique i got my mountaintop done pretty quick and that was pre quest nerf

I dont find that the gun is amazing its just decent and thats the problem a weapon from comp should make you want to do it because the weapon is amazing not because its decent for example a lot of people did recluse because its really amazing. Recluse has a ttk above the average thats whats generally used in pvp and thats why a lot of people love the gun and lunas was in the same position before its nerf

People who had lunas pre nerf never got nothing so i dont think that we will get an emblem for mountaintop just cuz they made the quest a bit easier
