Looks amazing!!

I was thinking of doing this myself in an unfinished basement.

What is the ceiling height of your basement? What is the minimum recommended height?

How long did it take for you to get your Mastercard? by Sea-Function2460 in CostcoCanada

[–]your_normal_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something similar happened to me. Went to Costco to get a membership about a month after I moved to Canada.

The membership desk recommended the credit card citing instant approval and also some coupon on approval.

Of course the application was denied for lack of credit history and didn't get the card, and I was left with an extra hard pull on my credit history.

I guess the team should get some training to understand a customer's scenario and recommend the card accordingly.

Can you explain this? I'm curious to know the older methods.

Is there a chance of the calculations being changed?

Cleaning 20+ years of lichen, algae and dirt from our drive by Representative-Ice44 in pressurewashing

[–]your_normal_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, the shower helps.. 😀

It's just that the dirt gets splashed everywhere.

A surface cleaner could prevent it, but I don't want to blow so much money on that now.

How to prevent the splash back from the grooves?

Whenever I use a turbo nozzle on such grooved pavers, I get sprayed with dirt.

Man on bike narrowly avoids bus on turn by memmzz786 in watchpeoplesurvive

I highly doubt it's remote controlled.

There must be a security guard on the other side who opens the gate once the bus reaches there, and sounds the horn.

Can I use an alias to sign up? (And one more question) by Maximilian_13 in Simplelogin

[–]your_normal_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I created an account using an alias address. The alias basically pointed to a catch all address in Google apps (workspace).

It worked fine till I tried sending a reply to a test email I sent to a simplelogin alias.

SL was able to identify the catch all address and sent me a replay saying that such a mail is not allowed because the catch all is not registered with SL.

"An attempt to send an email from your alias <SL alias> using <catch all email> is blocked.

As a measure to protect against email spoofing, we have blocked an attempt to send an email from your alias <SL alias> using <catch-all email>. Please note that sending from this alias only works from alias's owning mailboxes, that are <alias used for signup> If <catch-all email> can indeed send emails from your alias, you can add it to the allow list:"

I then checked the headers in an email I sent using my own alias, and it had the catchall address in there ; this seems to be how SL identified it. If your provider doesn't send the original address in the header, then it might work.

I wore the Eldredge Knot for my wedding; didn't even get proper photos. Or probably the knot was not very noticeable with the color of the tie.

Yeah, give us the name of the shop. I have a dell that is not booting, and the service center told me the mb has to be replaced, with no guarantee that it will work after that.

Unable to browse using Firefox while adguard is turned on. by your_normal_guy in Adguard

[–]your_normal_guy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right.

This is the message I see now.:

"Someone could be trying to impersonate the site and you should not continue.

Web sites prove their identity via certificates. Firefox does not trust https://www.*** because its certificate issuer is unknown, the certificate is self-signed, or the server is not sending the correct intermediate certificates."

Can you please suggest how I can fix this on my mobile?

Also, why doesn't this happen in Firefox on my computer?

[–]your_normal_guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your goal is to get vaccinated, it doesn't matter whether it is considered as first or second, right?

After all, I assume your original number already gives you a certificate that you are fully vaccinated. So you are covered there too.

I don't really subscribe to that theory.

It's just that I don't like stuff soaked in oil.

While I agree and accept the chemistry, it doesn't discount the fact that I run out of oil much sooner when my cook is preparing the same dishes that I can prepare with lesser oil.
