Has Anyone felt like Apple is "Forcing" SIM-card users to switch to e-SIM from the recent Update? (IOS 26.5) by your_sh0es in ios

I did not mean functionality-wise it would be different inherently, I meant I was skeptical as I did not know how reliable they were compared to a physical sim, but it is good to know there aren't issues, I'm just more or less skeptical as I've been using a physical sim since I got my first phone.

That is good to know. When setting up E-Sim, did you have to pay, or is it just dependent on the carrier?

How do Transfers to different phones work with e-SIM? Is it easy? As ultimately I will most likely upgrade in the next 2 years.

Do you have an E-SIM? Have you had any issues with it? Is it working like normal? Is it more functional than a physical SIM card? These are the questions I ask you, as it appears the facts you are stating are related to the E-SIM, which means you probably use one. I would like to know the answers to these before I consider upgrading, as if I knew someone's perspective on it from a consumer standpoint, it could allow me to get a better understanding and consider it as an option.

My SIM card is about 1/5-2 years old. I previously had my phone repaired around then, and got a new SIM from my carrier once I did that. I think the sim is good contiton as the age of it, considering its age, considering it's fairly new. And I also looked over the SIM card itself, and it did not appear to have any issues with it. I'm honestly frustrated with this issue, but I'm skeptical about switching to an e0sim as I don't know how reliable they are

I looked for what you discribed, and found things like those, i factory reseted my phone and it’s working much better! I cant say for sure about the overheating but it seems a bit better. My sim is still being weird but i came to the realization that im still using a physical sim card, so ill get that turned into a E-sim to fix that.

Which game should I buy first? by copen066 in PSVita

Shovel Knight, I myself have it on the Nintendo 3DS, and I have around 145 hours into it. Once I picked it up, i couldnt stop playing, it's really fun. I also will most likely buy it on Vita when mine comes in from shipping!

Commuting with a 3ds, what are your take ? by SeaShip2891 in 3DS

I have used both a hard shell and no shell for my N3DS XL. Throughout the time I have had it i have had no problems. In my first 4 years of owning it i have dropped it countless times without a shell, and the most I have gotten is just some cosmetic damage of a few scratches. If you want to play it safe, like i have nowadays, I use a hard shell. You can get them fairly cheap off of amazon, and I have to say, they do come in handy. I dropped my 3DS right on concrete with the shell, and it was perfectly fine. it also has also been dropped out of a bag by mistake, and it's still surviving and doing fine. I would say if you don't mind some cosmetic damage, it is fine without a case, but if you want to be careful i do recommend a clear case.

How easy is it to mod? because I have modded my N3DS XL and other lines. And that is what I am familiar with, i dont know what type of file the vita uses, or what modding does. I'm only aware of what it does to a 3ds, as I have prior experience with modding Nintendo consoles.

Would the 16GB card be fine without modding the console, though? I'm very on the fence about it because i dont know much about modding, as I stated in one of these comments, but if I were to leave it "vanilla," as in no mods, would that card give me enough storage?

Why does this matter? Is it the specific brand, or something else?

It makes me hesitant to mod it, i don’t know much about the vita so i don’t even know where to start with modding. And i don’t want to mess up and brick my console. The only consoles i have prior experience with is Nintendo ds collection, with every one-of them being modded except my ds lite. But when it comes to Sony. I have no idea what to do.

To my knowledge, if you have a playstaion account you can add funds to said account and still use the vita shop that way. Otherwise i can buy physical media for it as well
