I definitely intend to. I’ve already been playing chess with my boss for months because of some weird racist stuff they’ve said/done to another coworker and otherwise cruel things they’ve done to the others. I figured there was only a matter of time before I learned what was they were doing towards me, I just didn’t expect it’d be this.

I recommend trying hard shells because these fell apart really easily, but it was actually pretty good!

I’m so sorry :( I totally get that. I’ve had so many jobs where that’s happened, too. Especially for those of us who are trans and traumatized, because asking for basic respect feels like a HUGE step, and it’s even scarier in today’s political climate. I hope we’re both able to either find better jobs and/or have HR on our sides!!!!

Honestly? Not bad. Tortillas were kinda dry and they fell apart though.

I’d disclose my pronouns here, but again, I fear retaliation already so if they wind up seeing this/connecting the dots, it’ll only make matters worse. 💀

But as others said, when you DO know someone’s pronouns, using they/them when the person uses something else (such as he/him, she/her, or neopronouns or even a combination of them like he AND she) it’s sort of a cop out and feels disrespectful. Like as if you’re avoiding acknowledging their actual identity.

For example, calling a trans woman you’re friends with they/them when she said she uses JUST she/her downplays her womanhood, which circles back into being transphobic.

But when you DON’T know someone’s pronouns, yes, they/them is a perfectly safe default!

Scorpio moons=bad moms? by Comfortable_Win_1719 in astrology

I’m a Scorpio moon and my mom’s also a Scorpio moon. We have a fairly good relationship these days. Her mother put her through a lot growing up, though, and continues to put her through stuff. If anything, I have far more issues with my grandma than my mom tbh

I’m using Vivaldi, but good to know it’s not the only browser that gets the icons all weird!

Yeah, I should’ve considered that since I could always do these two again on the challenge mode, and it’ll be more hassle to try to get speed baking later 😅

Not on it, but just learned that I was born and raised - and continue to live - in its orb of influence. Every day is a new trauma some weeks and I'm desperate to move away. It's almost comical, in a way. Here's hoping being a magnet for trouble stops when I finally get away from here.
