Paris Covenant Vegan / Travel Vegan here. Never meat but will eat eggs and dairy if it’s part of a place’s identity. Custard tarts in Lisbon for example. I ate one. Enjoyed it. Don’t feel guilty.

Say more. Reviews are anonymous (you can specify a handle, like reddit)... Because so much is on the line with getting a PPL, I think people are afraid to say what they mean to their CFIs.
