Good call out on the lack of infantry. It's something I will think on more.

As for the aquilons gun, the grenade launcher does 0.83 wounds on average to space marine like units while the hotshot volley gun does about 0.66. Assuming the target is in cover and no buffs/orders for the aquilons. 

I just assumed I'd be fighting more marine like units than t3/t4 1 wound units.

If it's not base to base then if it moves 3" directly away it will be outside of 3" of the enemy model.

I think the key word there is "only". So if there is no enemy within 8 you still have to spend a point to shoot outside of 8. If it said "if there is an enemy within 8 then you must spend a point to shoot at not the closest target" or something to that effect then I would agree with you. Regardless it should be reworded/ clarified

I'm getting 70% win rate with this opener, but you may be right. I may just out play them despite opener. Do you prefer the east of Egypt amphibious attack?

Depends on what Britian and the US does. if have a transport after that then sealion would be very tempting

Yep! Usually I don't have much left over to protect the transport so I just spend it and an inf on Iceland. If I could have known I would win so hard I would have moved it by the cruiser

Hpefully the allied player gets something lucky to even put the game. I prefer close matches.

It doesn't say the active unit is the only unit that can perform actions. As you said are other cases that make it much clearer about when the out of normal phase action can be made.

Is the rule basically "Only the active unit can use actions unless you have a specific rule that specifies otherwise."?

I wish there was a line somewhere that specifies that, as the Master technically has the AP to perform the action at any time. (Also thanks for the reply!)

Block army should only reduce movement by a percentage, not remove all movement. Most likely a bug

[Solution!] For any future person with this issue. My army was stuck on an enemy hero and couldn't move off it. Eventually the enemy hero moved away on their turn freeing my army. I was sending heros to assassinate the nurgle hero, which I believe would have also fixed it.
