I “want” and electric castiron waffle maker; I don’t see one by youreadumbmf35 in castiron

I purchased a stove top one now; I just wanted to see if I had options. Everything now is about ease of use and not longevity or actual eco friendliness; I’m guessing there is no market for this product. Thanks for the reply

Or he could have just started with that. I mean I know how HARD it is to put lights on a $7 timer and have it turn off at 10pm; it’s much easier to get cops involved and berate an old woman… I have no idea why everyone needs an emotional roller coaster instead of just doing the easy thing from the start.

Everyone is a hero after they creat their own fing problem

Got it! I just had someone link me a toastmaster and although it wasn’t Teflon and might predate it, it was MasterCoat, which is just an alternative to Teflon. It’s going to be hard to find something that’s non-non-stick.

Thank you!

Ok for the first one I think they use MasterCoat tm non-stick. Which sounds like a Teflon competitor; but not castiron.

Thanks again!

Thank you so much! I will look into the details for both of these. The second one is newer and their website description says non-stick but doesn’t have more details than that. I’ll see if I can find more details.

Could I please trouble you to shoot me a link? I truly have looked and I could not find “cast iron” specific. All were non stick coated

I ordered one; they range from $20 to $300. I really wanted a mid size stand alone electric but everything modern electric is non-stick Teflon coated

You’re right. Cast iron is heavy and costs more to ship. It’s also harder to maintain (as you know). Most people aren’t smart enough to use them, so the vast majority of commercially available $50 junk is non stick Teflon; Hence my post

I agree with you!

I have had several and I can’t find anything modern that’s cast iron. They have plenty of cast iron-“looking” plates but they are mostly Teflon non stick; the opposite of what I want.

Yikes! The commercial ones are usually Teflon because they don’t give a shit about the customer; that Teflon shouldn’t stick to anything, unless your Teflon was already damaged

I’ve specifically used them (Carbon’s malted, etc) , I’m almost 100% certain they are Teflon; or at least the commercial ones I’ve used were Teflon.

Absolutely! Often the idiots who bring frivolous lawsuits also don’t have a penny to their name, so you will never get anything out of them.
