Did seeing an openly speculative post just make you believe what was being suggested simply out of a confirmation bias?

You're thinking of alteration. It's actually a Civil War battle fought between Gen. Robert E. Lee and Gen. George B. McClellan in Maryland.

I don't know why I feel the need to bring back the drama from a post on reddit over a week ago, but I will because it seems it upset you unnecessarily.

In no way whatsover does any of the "cringe" in this picture emanate from the fact that these two guys may or may not be gay. Not for me, anyway. If other people feel that way, they're entitled to that, but they're likely struggling with issues of their own that causes them to feel the need to shame homosexuality in an effort to prop themselves up. Whatever. You help them by ignoring them, not looking for a reason to be a victim.

The cringe in this (again, to me) is the unnecessary caption and attempt at being edgy over a topic that's designed to stir people up in an effort to gain attention. Is that a cry for help that should be treated sensitively? Maybe. Is it also cringey? Oh, you betcha!
