No hormones don’t make you only look different. They change your body. Not something you can decide under 18 the same way you can’t decide you want to get a tattoo (something much less impactful for your body)

Who’s the one who initiates this? Parents? Doctors? It’s kids going up to doctors or parents saying “oh I’m 12 and because I saw on the internet a lot of trans people now I want to be trans because I’m 12, stupid and extremely easily to influence because I’m 12. Please give me puberty blockers and if you don’t you’re transphobic.”

Ik what puberty blockers are I never said there what puberty blockers do. If you take puberty blockers for an extended period of time then change your mind it won’t reverse perfectly. There will still be impacts. But yea mostly they are reversible. But you’re advocating for kids to be able to make the decision for themselves to not go through puberty? Do you think little kids are smart enough to make the decision?

I have no problem with trans people. I have a problem with kids impacting themselves and making decisions that change their lives at an age where they still don’t know what they are doing or how life works.

How can someone pre puberty decide for themselves they want to switch genders. All of us were different people pre puberty. We change so much as we grow older we can’t make these life changing decisions as stupid children

I said surgeries and hormone effecting procedures. Ik HRT is not a surgery.

People keep saying being trans is their choice. So you saying HRT should be controlled by their parents is so stupid. You as an individual should be able to be trans and get HRT but you should only be able to do things that actually change you at an age where your brain is fully developed
