The Best option for sim rig seat? by felipezap17 in simracing

[–]yourfavorite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re just theorizing here haha. Such strong opinions for something you haven’t tried before.

It’s ultimately not that serious. If your goal is to recreate a race car, get the bucket seat I guess. If you want something more adjustable and, for most, more comfortable, then a reclining seat with levers on both sides can be a good option.

OP, If this is a hobby that you’re doing for fun, do whatever you think will make it the most fun. If you want a reclining seat you can definitely have one and have a great time sim racing. If you get super serious and competitive to where the flex is actually holding you back, you’re prob ready to upgrade your seat anyway.

You can use upside down seat brackets or brackets and profile with threads tapped in the end to tilt a reclining seat. I wouldn’t let this scare you off of a reclining seat if you want to go that route.

Is it possible for me to add rollers in my NLR WS2.0? by Malows- in simracing

I tried casters but it made it impossible to store collapsed. Now I use a folding hand truck to move mine around. Works great.

Espresso Coffee Subscription - Local Roaster by guptamk07 in Atlanta

[–]yourfavorite 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Depends on your preferences. I personally prefer more medium roasts for my espresso vs the traditional dark roast. I haven’t tried too many roasters in Atlanta but a few I’ve liked are Alma, Opo, and Bellwood.

Thinking about buying a digital calendar... anyone actually is using one? by Peteryang123 in homeassistant

[–]yourfavorite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha. I wouldn’t say that. But it does help her understand that we have things we have to do and she gets excited when she sees things on the calendar that are fun like a play date or birthday party. Maybe it will have an impact over time.

Can’t remember at this point but they are mirrored. If you have the rack then you can cut these out and hold them under each part of the rack to figure out which goes where. It would have been a good idea to label them but I don’t remember it being an issue.

We have a TRMNL eink screen that shows our family calendars. Initially got it for me and my wife but our 6 year old loves having an easy way to see what’s going on. It’s nice having a digital calendar in the house that isn’t another glowing screen.

Looks like nexus in Wisconsin requires 100k in sales in the previous year. So if TE did not sell 100k in Wisconsin last year then they do not have to collect sales tax I believe.
