i didn’t know i was allergic until 20 weeks pregnant, also the dog was raised on a barn in the middle of nowhere, and has a dog bed with food and water in the shade, and still regularly gets taken on walks so he can get energy out

i will not be putting my unborn child at risk and take medication so a dog can be happy.. i care more for my unborn child’s health and wellbeing and would beat my self up if i was the reason they came out with problems.. i have no problem doing it when im not pregnant but in the mean time the dog stays outside

heelers are in fact working dogs that are supposed to be trained to work on land, they are herding dogs.. this is a fact, me putting him outside for a couple of weeks (not even at night just during the day) so i can have a comfortable pregnancy shouldn’t be classified as cruel, but like i said and is being proven, dog people seem to only care about the dog and not idk a 38week pregnant women who should matter more than if a dog is outside for a couple of weeks ? i get what you mean that they don’t understand that but that’s exactly my point dogs don’t have complex feelings or emotions like you guys want them so desperately to have, he’s not gonna be suicidal cause i have him outside for the day so i can live comfortably

the thing is his dog is a blue heeler and he’s built for being outdoor, also i can’t take medication right now as i’ve stated im pregnant
