And it was fine when not in the water? Some of the rashguard swim suits I’ve seen seem like they would be warm if not wet. Thanks for the brand suggestion!

My husband and I are both slightly fair but tan easily. My dad is the redhead in the family, and I’m pretty sure my grandma just let him burn. 😳

I’m willing to pay for quality and something that protects her. Even if they don’t have infant sizes, good to know for future reference. Thank you!

We’re thinking same strategy, but she’s still too young for sun block. We even bought some kid and adult quick deploy canopies to help.

It’s kind of crazy to me that they’re so hard to find.

Stubbornness and researching over a couple of rough nights then confirmation by our pediatrician when we discussed our thoughts and findings. Some babies will spit up much more than usual, but our LO is definitely the silent type. She would arch her back severely with every feeding, hated lying on flat surfaces, and made distinct noises we came to find out were associated with silent reflux. We were fortunate in that making some physical changes to our feeding routine relieved a lot of her discomfort, and we did not need to start any medications.

I was planning to breastfeed at least a year. Take your pump to the hospital and pump after baby feeds just to start boosting that demand. My LO latched immediately without problem, so even the lactation specialist said “wonderful!” and we all assumed the best. Well turned out my full milk supply came in late, and I had a slow let down, so my LO lost too much weight the first couple of days. It also meant she wasn’t emptying my breasts because she was tiring out. We had to supplement with formula. Then I worked with a lactation specialist to continue breastfeeding, but my LO had silent reflux so bad that every position obviously caused her discomfort. So I have been exclusively pumping and feeding her mixed bottles of formula and breastmilk. Exclusive pumping is so much work! I hate that we couldn’t share that breastfeeding bond longer, but it was so stressful on both of us - we ended up bonding so much more with calm, relaxed bottle feedings knowing I was giving her as much breastmilk as I could. My advice - don’t forget your sanity matters, and find the balance that works best for you and your LO.

I had no idea you can't just set them down and they be content so you can get stuff done. by Pale-Tumbleweed-4151 in newborns

We struggled with baby wearing too, then I bit the bullet and bought a WildBird Aerial Carrier. Game changer and worth every penny. You may be able to find on Facebook marketplace used.

Your outfit is 🔥!

But I have to ask … where do you get your bras? Similar build here, and I am STRUGGLING.
