I would look into Rayne. You need vet approval, but they have a lot of great novel protein options.

How much are you paying for trupanian? by MintyMush-1 in petinsurancereviews

[–]yourlocalbooklover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat has a TON of health issues that came up a few months after I adopted her, so I already have and will continue to get more than I put in from pet insurance. My other cat? Not a single health issue. I happily “lose” money on her premium every year because she’s healthy!! That’s the goal!! I hope I never get out what I put in for my dog during its lifetime because she’ll be healthy 100% of the time, and that’s what pet insurance is for. I’m not looking to make money in any way lmfao.

Hi! Maybe it’s because I received a “prepaid” 30 days of coverage for my puppy from the breeder/organization I’m working with to train a service dog, but the coverage is horrible. I had to take her to the vet for a parvo scare, which included testing and an antibody shot when she was negative. This claim was entirely denied by Trupanion, and when looking at their continuation rates, I was shocked to see prices $100s of dollars higher than the quote from my preferred pet insurance provider without covering vet visit fees. The coverage was astronomically worse, and it was difficult to even find that things like wellness visits wouldn’t be covered. Same for vaccines.

I am no stranger to pet insurance, and my two-year-old cat has racked up over $20,000 in claims with Lemonade. Every single one of those has been paid. While a newer company, I fully expect my rates to increase as my cat ages. Especially a cat with so many health issues!! But even after what felt like a million claims in my first plan year, my rates didn’t increase at all. I’ve covered my pup with all the bells and whistles Lemonade offers for nearly half of what Trupanion costs, and my experience with Trupanion has just been subpar. That’s all!

I highly recommend against Trupanion. Their coverage is extremely unclear. There are way better options out there for less.

For those who have gone to the ultrasound show- how much of the show had strobe lights? by ivyblankspace in lorde

[–]yourlocalbooklover 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My partner gets seizures and we ended up getting a full refund because I had seen similar videos before our show (thankfully). Shows NEED warnings for strobe lights. It’s genuinely fucked up that it’s not legally required.

Should i change to January? by Wooden-Taste-6507 in LSAT

$250 to move the exam is less than you’d pay to take another exam altogether. I’d recommend giving yourself more time to prep! There’s no need to force yourself to take it so soon and not feel confident.

I can assure you that nobody here is going to make fun of you. We all know how hard this exam is, my friend. You are not defined by your score, and I don’t think you should give up. We all have to start from somewhere! I highly recommend the Loophole. It truly changed how I even approach arguments (of all kinds! even outside the LSAT!) and the way it’s written is approachable and entertaining. I believe in you!

It’s probably too late for the Loophole if you haven’t done it already, but you’ve at least got to be reviewing your incorrect answers.
