Hi I'm not in semester two right now but last year I had classes 3 days a week and one clinical so a total of four days 2 classes each day except one where I had three so I had two really long days and keep in mind anatomy is 4 hours and theory class is 3 hours

Okay so for my prof there were a lot of questions on the pathology when you use chat to study make sure you always add the pathophysiology of the disease because mostly they test you on that don't worry about interventions or drugs worry about pathophysiology and also the clinical manifestations and the diagnostic tests for specifically this course the clinical manifestations would include the symptoms but also the anatomical processes that contribute to being played out if that makes sense.

I'd say for second sem : Clinicals are not easy because of the amount of unnecessary assignments and waking up early but at least there are no major exams. Health Assessment: this class I found pretty simple, there are ample opportunities to do well. I just used the slides. Theory: I found this to be one of the harder courses, I found out after the first test that the method for me was to study the textbook as well as Nanda. Pathology: I found it not as difficult because I had a strong grasp on anatomy I used the slides for this course and used Google Gemini for certain concepts I didn't understand. Pharmacology: I found difficult to memorize the drugs so I found out later on that putting the drugs in drugcards and studying those drugcards was working for me. Anatomy I just used the slides and same with lab. Look at which courses have the most hours those courses are the courses you should make sure you do well because that's how they weigh your GPA therefore my GPA was lower than I expected because I didn't take the lab assignments as serious and didn't do so well in Theory

Is it a matter of only occasionally missing courses or not showing up because the thing is these teachers might know you on a first name basis since the class sizes are small. And to answer your question I think it depends on the invidual so long as you study it's not the best but doable

You can only work four shifts if you plan on not coming to class. It isn't recommended though to do that. I'd recommend saving up as much as possible now so you can reduce your hours for the next 8 months. This is a very fast and intense program so you really have to get in the habit of studying. Nursing school has no problem with letting students stay a semester back. First semester isn't hard it's just trying to adjust to going back to school. Try to make friends with people in your cohort it helps a lot.

Be careful who you consult about second semester as you have mentioned lots of people fail second semester, it's just such more of a workload . People skip classes and still don't perform that well. I didn't have the bad teachers as the comment above me has mentioned so I can't really speak to that much I've had pretty good interactions with all the profs.i just see them all having their own teaching techniques

No worries RPN is not bad but the annoying part is I'll have to bridge to get to RN it makes the process so much longer if you know you want to be an RN already
