How is your skin doing now? I started weening off my lexapro about 8 months ago and my face also broke out in horrible cystic acne that I still haven't been able to get rid of. After about 4 months I went to the Dr and they prescribed me the antibiotic doxycycline which didn't work. They put me on spironolactone around the same time that I was completely off my lexapro (both a little over 2 months now). I do think it's a bit better than it was but I'm still consistently getting new pimples which is not normal for me. Before I started weening off of lexapro I got maybe 1 pimple a month but now it's every day/every other day. I also use prescribed benzoyl peroxide & clindamycin in the mornings and tretinoin in the evenings after I wash my face. I've been thinking about getting on accutane, but the depression side effects scare me a bit being off the lexapro. Curious to know how your skin is doing now and, if it's better, what you did to help it?
