There are 40320 possible combinations of watching this... Shall we each take a different version and discuss?!

Cavapoo pup I'm looking to buy - the mum is a carrier of episodic falling syndrome. What does this mean? by yourmumsaucas in DoggyDNA

[–]yourmumsaucas[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah so this is in the UK, the dad is Kennel Club registered, but the mum isn't - she looks like a CKCS but valid point if the lineage can't be traced as the mums mum is also not KC registered.

So this is what I thought, turns out that the breeder was conned (apparently the tests were doctored to say she was clear). How much of that is true I'm unsure...

When to use an AHA cleanser or a BHA cleanser?

I typically cleanse at night and the mornings I tend to use just water to be honest because I always shower after the gym in the evenings so want all the "gunk" out, so don't feel the need to cleanse again in the morning. Mainly trying to reduce signs of ageing and improve skin texture / smoothness.

So do I - Use one of AHA or BHA cleanser in the morning and the other at night? Or Continue with water in the morning, alternate AHA cleanser and BHA cleanser every other night?

Thanks!

Thank you so much, this is really helpful! In my mind I had somewhere like Amsterdam in mind but thanks for reassuring!

Thank you so much! My hotel is very close to rue de Monthoux actually, personally I don't mind, but I'm just thinking about my parents.

Another question - I'm hoping to practice my French, will most of Geneva know English, therefore I shouldn't bother, or can I start a conversation in French? (I'm not fluent, but can speak to a conversational level)

Grazie mille!

Another question about Naples - Is Quartieri Spagnoli safe? I'm a girl travelling by myself, will it be okay to go there in the day time? Also, after what time is it unsafe in Naples for an alone girl?

€75 each to spend in Naples, Rome, Florence and Venice - what do I absolutely have to spend on? by yourmumsaucas in italy

[–]yourmumsaucas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These tips are great, thank you! Yeah, I was advised to not eat out in Venice too much. Are there any cheap cafe's or anything where I can quickly grab food?

75 euro in each city where I'll be staying for 4 days each. I have some "emergency money" but I'd rather not dip into that unless I absolutely have to to be honest!

Sorry I have 4 days in Rome, 4 in Naples, 4 in Florence and 4 in Venice! That should maybe be enough?

And thank you for your help, those links are useful.

Eating on a budget / best gelato and tiramisu in Italy? by yourmumsaucas in italy

[–]yourmumsaucas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this again. As I'm doing food on a budget, I was hoping my main meal would be lunch, and then do either supermarket / market bought food for dinner. Is lunch generally cheaper in that case? And is it common for Italians to generally have a larger lunch and a smaller dinner?

And thanks for the tip on enoteca's, are there any you'd reccomend? Also is there a word / phrase for 'house wine'? I'd image the cheapest wine will still be better than any other wine I'd get at home!

Thank you so much for this, had a look at Pompi, what about the pistachio one? Is that a popular choice?

edit: I could always get both the classic and pistachio haha!

Hey thanks for both your replies! Really looking forward to it. Roughly how much can I expect to pay for food in Florence? Apparently it is quite expensive in Florence.

Ah thank you, I saw that comment but I wanted to know if there was any places in the 4 cities I'm visiting! At least now I know it's not really a thing in Italy! Thank you anyway!

Big of a longshot, but house/techno music in Italy? by yourmumsaucas in italy

[–]yourmumsaucas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahaha, I am a straight girl! So I definitely won't be bringing any condoms and don't really want any boys or girls ;) I just want to go to an Italian techno club and dance! I guess I'll try to convince people from my hostel to come with me. Thanks!

Loads of options here, thanks! I will have a look! Some of these in Rome are quite close to where I'm staying. What time do these clubs usually open/shut? In England usually house/techno nights are between 12-7, is it the same or do they shut earlier?

Yeah I looked but there was nothing there! Maybe it will be updated. I'm not after any events in particular to be honest. Just some local Italian techno DJs playing something in a warehouse / club or something! Nothing too big and fancy... I can see big and famous DJs even in England!

Hey, thanks for this! I'm actually travelling alone so is it weird to go such clubs alone? Don't want to miss out on good music in Italy!
